Adam Jude Romero

Lafayette - Adam Jude Romero, 51, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on March 16, 2025. Born in Lafayette, Adam lived a life full of passion for music, the great outdoors, and cherished moments spent with family and friends. His love for music defined much of his life, bringing joy to those around him and inspiring others with his talent. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, and traveling, always seeking adventure in nature. Adam’s greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was sharing a laugh, making memories, or offering a listening ear, Adam’s presence was a source of warmth and comfort to those who knew him. Adam is survived by his wife, Charlotte Boutte Romero; his son, Jacob Johnson; his daughter, Lily Romero; his stepson, Dane Roche; his brother, James Romero; his sister, Rhonda Romero; his beloved grandchildren, Gracie and Abram Roche; and his father, Robert Romero Sr. He is preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Darbonne whose memory he carried with him every day. A Memorial Service to honor Adam’s life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, in the chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services in Broussard, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM – 4:00PM Adam will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched with his love, his laughter, and his music. May he rest in peace.
