Al La’Condi DeVilleOctober 1, 1965 — May 16, 2026. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Al La’Condi DeVille announces his passing on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 60. Al was a man of profound kindness, warmth, and faith. He possessed a rare gift for connecting with others; he was a true "people person" who brought joy and light into every room he entered. Known for his infectious laughter and joyful spirit, Al had a remarkable ability to lift the hearts of those around him. He was a deeply affectionate and devoted father who always placed his family first. He took immense pride in providing for his children, ensuring they never went without and consistently demonstrating a selflessness that defined his character. For roughly a decade, Al worked offshore in the oil and gas industry before transitioning into his passionate career as an Occupational Safety Specialist. He dedicated his professional life to the protection of others, authoring safety publications and pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Occupational Safety & Health. His work was a true reflection of his heart: ensuring that every worker made it home safely to their loved ones. Above all his professional milestones, Al’s greatest joy and proudest achievement was his family. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted children, Alex DeVille of Broussard, Alyssa DeVille of Broussard, Rainey DeVille of Mamou, and Kendall LeJeune of Austin; his sisters, Shenell DeVille and Michelle DeVille; and his mother-in-law, Carrie LeJeune of Eunice. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and countless colleagues. Al is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife of eighteen years, Pamela LeJeune DeVille; his daughter, Alayiah LeJeune; and his parents, Turlind and Lucille DeVille. True to his giving nature, Al left this world as a hero, giving the gift of life to others as an organ donor.
