Baton Rouge - Andria Jackson Johnson, born on April 20, 1954 in New Orleans, LA, passed on November 11, 2024, in Baton Rouge, LA. Andria was baptized at Rock Zion Baptist Church at a young age and graduated from Capital Sr. High School in 1972. Her passion for sewing led her to a career in fashion design, creating garments for local singers under the mentorship of a professional seamstress. Later, Andria studied at DHCI School of Nursing Assistant, then landed a job in her field at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. But her most accomplished job was being a mother to her three children. In addition, after years of studying at Rhema Bible Online College, she most recently obtained her Degree in Theology, in hopes of becoming a Hospital Chaplain. She is survived by her children; Courtney Steven Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; Adrienne Carmein Johnson of Prairieville, LA; and Samuel Nicholas Johnson of Waukegan, IL. She also leaves behind three grandchildren; Zia'Lela Johnson, Marlowe Johnson, and Amerika Jackson. Three sisters; Linda S. Augustus, Jaquelyn Jackson, both of Baton Rouge, and Sandra J. Hickman (James) of Baker, LA. One brother; Samuel T. Jackson (Agatha) of New Orleans. A of host nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Andria was preceded in death by her Parents; Samuel Andrew Jackson and Olinda Haney Jackson, a sister Glenda Gayle Jackson, and her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.     Memorial Arrangements Entrusted to: Colligan Crematory and Funeral Service 121 Park Center Drive Broussard, LA. 70518   A Private Service will be held at a later date.
