Anthony Scott Bladel

Anthony Scott Bladel passed away on January 14, 2026, at his home in St. Martinville, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.

Anthony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose greatest joy came from time spent with those he loved. He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. When relaxing at home, he could often be found playing video games, a pastime that brought him happiness and laughter and was often shared with family. Anthony will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and the deep love he had for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Misty Bladel; his sons, Alexander Stroud, Andrew Bladel, and Lance Bladel; his brothers, David Bladel, Mark Bladel, Elbert Bladel, and James Bladel; his sisters, Roxanne Seymour, Rosalind Bladel, and Theresa Sherer; his grandchildren, Rosie and Eli, with another grandchild on the way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.

Anthony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
