Breaux Bridge - Arthur St. Amant Joubert, age 38, passed away on April 10, 2025. A man of rare talent and boundless heart, Arthur was a skilled carpenter and technician who could build just about anything with his hands. Whether he was creating something out of nothing or fixing what others thought was beyond repair, his craftsmanship and creativity left a mark on everything—and everyone—he touched. Arthur was most at peace on the water. He loved boating and fishing, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children. His love for his family was as steady and strong as the work he did. Anyone who ever met Arthur couldn’t help but love him—his kindness, laughter, and loyalty made him an unforgettable presence and a true friend to all. He is survived by his fiancée, Caitlyn Broussard; his beloved children: Arthur Joubert Jr. "AJ", Ahmyrie Broussard, Aniya Joubert, and Aubree Joubert; his mother, Cynthia Bakeler; his sisters: Tiffany Begneaud, Angelique Joubert Devillier her husband Health Devillier, and Alicia Joubert. He also leaves behind nieces Leigh, Lexie, Kayla, Jazmyn, Abigail, Taylor, KeiLahni, Jolie and Lacie; nephews , Jacque, and Marvin; great-nephew, Jhin and sister-in-law Madison Smith—each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is preceded in death by his Father Ronald Joubert, Maw maw Marie Mayer Bakeler, Paw paw Arthur F Bakeler Sr, Grandfather Remi Joubert and Grandmother Lois Sheffield Joubert. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at The Christian Life Center in Lafayette at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow at Fountain Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brock Reaux, Trevor Carpenter, Health Devillier and Terry Best, Honorary Pallbearers will be Arthur Joubert Jr. "AJ" and Jacque Devillier.
