Barbara Ann Romero

Youngsville -Barbara Ann Romero age 78, left us on September 1, 2024, at her residence in Youngsville. Barbara's radiant smile and warm, friendly nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Born and raised in Youngsville, Barbara was the heart of her family and a cherished friend to many. Her love for cooking was matched only by her passion for spending time with those she held dear. Whether hosting family gatherings or sharing a meal with friends, Barbara's home was always a place of warmth and joy. Barbara was known for her boundless kindness, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for her family. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 61 years Gerald Romero, children Ray Romero and wife Tina and Bethany K. Romero, grandchildren; Cylas Lopez, Jancilynn Harris, Aaliyah Jones and Haylee Romero and one great grandchild, Athena Richard. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Idie Richard and Elise Albert. Barbara’s memory will live on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness and her ever-present smile.
