Charenton - Betty Joyce Aucoin, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was known for her loving and compassionate nature, touching the lives of all who knew her. Betty was a pillar of strength and kindness throughout her life. She exemplified love in its many forms, showing unwavering care and support to her family and friends. Her children remember her as a guiding light who instilled in them strength and resilience, traits she herself embodied throughout her life's journey. Betty had a passion for reading and enjoyed the occasional thrill of casino trips. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly. Her face would light up with happiness whenever she was surrounded by their laughter and love. In her final moments, Betty's last words were a testament to her caring nature and the love she held for her family: "I love ya'll." These words encapsulate the essence of who she was — a woman whose heart overflowed with love and whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Betty is survived by her children: Elridge Carlin Jr., Belinda Daigle and husband Gilbert, Nannette Robin and husband James, Tonia Cole and husband Scott, Shannon Pontiff and husband Michael, son-in-law Jimmy Bourque Jr. and sisters Shirley LeBlanc Billiot and Louise LeBlanc Blanchard, along with eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
