Beaumont, Tx. Bobbie Jean Romero. It is with deep sadness that the family of Bobby Jean Romero announces her passing on March 8, 2025, at the age of 88. Bobby Jean, a devout member of the Catholic faith and of St. Marcellus Church, lived a life that was full of simple, meaningful joys and cherished moments. Bobby Jean found comfort and purpose in the everyday routines of life. She took great pleasure in keeping busy with dishes and laundry, finding fulfillment in the small, yet important tasks of her day. One of her fondest memories was waiting for the Borden’s man to arrive, when she could enjoy ice cream with her family. It was a moment of connection and happiness that she always looked forward to. She also loved long car rides, finding peace in the quiet moments along the way. Bobby Jean’s presence will be remembered in the quiet moments she so lovingly cherished. Her legacy will live on through the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were touched by her kind and loving spirit. She is survived by her children Wiltz Romero Jr., Frank Romero and wife Tina, and Juanita Romero Minvielle; 22 grandchildren, including Joseph Romero, Scott Romero, Brian Segura, Clayton Reed, Troy Reed, Ricky Reed, Christy Reed, John and Anita Downs, Charley and Amber Braun, Jessica Romero Snyder, Chris Romero, Jesse Romero Jr., Stephanie Romero, Johnny and Raquel Migues, Dolly Migues, Derek and Cindy Romero Segura, Kodi Romero, Alex Romero, Donna and Danny Butler, Sherry and Mark Faust, Mary Minvielle, and Sally and Christy Franks; as well as her 21 great-grandchildren, including Chayce and Abby Trahan, Sadie Penny, Emma Romero, Braylen Romero, Leila Macias, Logan Macias, Parker Downs, Andrew Braun, Ami and Gage Hayes, Bekah Segura, Emmitt Segura, Heidi Migues, Haidyn Migues, Ricky Reed Jr., Morgan Reed, Andrea Romero, Angel Romero, Austin Romero, Brennan Trahan, Cole Segura, Chasity Segura, Christopher Fast, Ashley Noble, Santana Robbins, Billy Whitly, Everette Robbins, Brenda Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, Micheal Horton, Dre Minvielle, Damian Mayea, and Dritzz Morales. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wiltz Romero Sr.; her sons, Jesse Romero Sr. and Clint Paul Romero; her father, John Sandifer; her stepfather, Seaborn Bryan; and her mother, Ethel Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Madison Bryan; her sisters, Bertie Lucille Sandifer and Billie Geraldine Racca; her in-laws, Edwin and Anita Deslette Romero; her son-in-law, Raymond Minvielle; her daughters-in-law, Mabel Ann Reed Romero, Linda Romero, and Debra Sheffield Romero; and her grandchildren, Jodie Romero Henry and Britani Gary. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services in Brousard. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:00 PM at St. Marcellus Cemetery in New Iberia. Bobby Jean’s love, grace, and the memories she leaves behind will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
