Camille "Gg" Melancon

Broussard – Camille “GG” Melancon age 88 passed away on November 7, 2023 at her home in Sweeny, Texas. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 15, 2023 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Broussard. Interment will immediately be following at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Service in Broussard on Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 2:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary being held at 6:00 PM and again from 8:00-10:00AM Wednesday November 15, 2023. A reception will follow interment at the Sacred Heart Church reception hall. She is survived in death by her children: Andree Prude and husband Mike of Sweeney, Texas, Vicki Rhoton and her husband Robert of Victoria, Texas, Michael Hollier of Milton, Steve Hollier of Edna, Texas and Monigue Germillion and husband Keith of Lafayette. Siblings; T-Boy Melancon, Jeanie Hernandez and Donald Melancon. Her grandchildren: Brad Mears and wife Janie, Mitchell Mears and wife Arely, Tonya Henry and husband Preston and Emma and Jude Germillion and great grandchildren: Airel Sabastian, Eric Carden, Allen Simons, Jacob, Kolby, Brayden and Bradley Mears and Isaiah Rhotan. She is preceded in death by her parents Maurice Melancon and Mathilde LeBlanc, siblings; Louis Melancon and Flo Delcambre, her children, David and LE Hollier and grandchild Miranda Doucet. A beautician her entire life, Camille was loving known as “GG” by family and friends. She loved music, enjoying life and spending quality time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren . She will be dearly missed.
