Youngsville - Loving Memory of Carole Jo “CJ” White November 6, 1954 – November 4, 2025 Carole Jo “CJ” White, age 70, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in New Iberia, Louisiana, just two days shy of her 71st birthday. Born on November 6, 1954, in Okay, Oklahoma, CJ was surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments. She was the daughter of Billy Joe Pingleton and Carolyn Gardner of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and grew up alongside her brother, Bill Carroll Pingleton. CJ is preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Pingleton; her stepdaughter, Misti Enloe; and her mother-in-law, Renee White. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. A beloved wife to her husband, Ron for 26 wonderful years. CJwas a mother to Bobby Gragg and his wife Staci, and a grandmother to their sons, Logan, and Zachary, and to Sharon Strimple, whose sons Brendon and Bryson were not only her grandsons but also the young men she helped raise with unwavering love and wisdom and was a great-grandmother to Seraphin and Avaleigh, Brendon’s children. CJ was a stepmother to Misti Enloe’s family—her husband Chris and their children Hannah and Chad (fiancé), along with grandson River; Christopher A. Enloe and Taylor (fiancé), grandson Maverick; Melissa Nicole White and her children Braelynn, Gabrielle, Reagan and Bently and great-grandmother to Malani Rose and Malaya Genesis; and Kalya and Demetrius Evans, with their sons Tramain, William, and Brennan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. CJ worked as a secretary for the Commission of the Blind and served as Director of the Love & Action group at her church, offering care and support to those in need. Her proudest professional achievement was building a Safety Consulting firm in the Oil & Gas industry alongside her beloved husband, Ron—a partnership rooted in trust, hard work, and love. She was a free spirit whose laughter filled every room. She found joy in dancing, crafts, and comfort in the music of Elvis Presley. A Celebration of CJ’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church Youngsville, located at 623 Lafayette Street, Youngsville, LA 70592.
