Cheri Ann Leblanc

Abbeville - Cheri LeBlanc age 59 passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday February, 27, 2024 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM in the Chapel of Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services in Broussard, La. Cheri is survived by her finace' Michael "Red" Johnson of Abbeville, daughters; Allaina and husband Cameron Etie of Lafayette, Heather and her husband Eric of Youngsville, Allyssa and her husband Austin Benard of New Iberia, and sister Annette and her husband Brent LeBlanc of Abbeville, grandchildren: Weston and Caroline Riebel and Oliver Bernard. She is preceded in death by her parents Lester Gayneaux and Dorothy Broussard and brother Lynn Gayneaux. Cheri was a beloved mother and a cherished friend to many. She will be remembered for her kindness to everyone and her love for gardening. She loved spending hours in her garden with her grandkids. Cheri had a kind and compassionate soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.She had a huge passion for cooking her cajun dishes, especially with her fresh garden veggies. She bought joy to everyone she encountered. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.May she rest in peace.
