Christina Marie Carpenter

Church Point - Christina Marie Carpenter, age 48, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, at the Hospice of Acadiana’s Calcutta House in Lafayette, Louisiana. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Christina relocated to Church Point, Louisiana, 35 years ago, where she built a life filled with family, faith, and resilience. She was a devoted member of the Church Point Methodist Church and found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life. Christina's greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving father, Charles Carpenter and his wife Pam Carpenter of Slidell, LA, and her devoted mother, Catherine Mahoney of Boise, ID. She leaves behind her cherished children: Anna Williams and husband Gallen Willams of Tallahassee, FL, and their children Elijah, Rylie, and Delilah; Megan Comeaux and husband Drake Comeaux of Broussard, LA, and their children Hazel Blanchard, Zoey, and Zaya Comeaux; and her son, Alex Burleigh of Church Point, LA. Known for her kind heart, unwavering spirit, and love of family, Christina touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and in the legacy she leaves through her children and grandchildren.
