Chrystal Rachael Corbello

Lake Arthur - Chrystal Rachael Corbello, age 49, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with illness. Though her time on earth was far too short, Chrystal lived every moment with an unshakable spirit and determination to live. Chrystal was the embodiment of resilience. Known for her upbeat personality and ability to find light even in the darkest moments, she brought laughter and love to those around her. Her greatest joy in life was her role as a proud and doting Aunt. She poured her heart into her relationships with Bracen, Jaida, Caiden, Kenlee, Aiden, and Alyla — her beloved great-nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. She loved to watch them play and loved to spoil them. She cherished the simple pleasures in life: gathering with family, making memories with friends, and spending moments with her loyal pets — CoCo, Girlie, and Sassy — who were never far from her side. Chrystal is survived by her devoted mother, Charlene Monceaux Corbello; her loving brother, Shannon Corbello, and his wife Rachel; and their children, Kelsey, Chace, and Brooke. She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry her memory with them always. She is preceded in death by her father, Merlin "Lee" Corbello. Chrystal’s life was a testament to strength, love and a strong family bond. Her legacy lives on in her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
