Crystal Brook Lafluer

Crystal Brook Lafleur, age 44, of Ville Platte, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2026. She was born on December 31, 1981 and was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Lafleur.

She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Josie Brook McDaniel (18) and Karlee Mae Vidrine (14), and her sister, Lindsey Bergeron.

Her sudden passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. It is our hope that she has now found peace.

A small memorial service will be held at the home of Josie McDaniel, 2803 Tate Cove Rd, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to come pay their respects, share a meal, and offer comfort and support to her two daughters, who, despite the stress of handling arrangements, simply wish to honor and remember their mother in a loving and meaningful way with all who cared for her.
