Curtiss C. Price, Sr., 84, of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Born on June 12, 1941, to Lee and Agnes Price, Curtiss lived a life marked by service, integrity, and devotion to his family. A proud United States Air Force veteran, Curtiss carried the values of discipline and commitment throughout his life. After his military service, he built a respected career in the Morgan City community, known for his steady work ethic and quiet strength. Curtiss was married for 57 years to his beloved wife, Teresa Mire Price, with whom he built a close‑knit and loving family. He is survived by his children Christine McCleary (James), Curtiss Price, Jr. (Cindy), and Brian Price (Missy); thirteen grandchildren; and thirteen great‑grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Teresa, his parents, his in-laws Fulton and Earline Mire, his sister Helen Daigle, his brothers Ernest, Lee, Eugene, Merlin and Wybra, and his sisters‑in‑law Barbara Broussard and Lois Theriot. Curtiss will be remembered for his mechanical and electrical skills, his loyalty to family, and the deep pride he carried for the family he and Teresa built together. The family will have a private celebration of life for Curtiss and he will be buried with his wife Teresa in a private service at the Morgan City cemetery at a later date.
