David Wayne Jamieson Jr

David Wayne Jamieson Jr. Youngsville - David W. Jamieson, Jr, 52, died peacefully at home surrounded by love on August 5, 2022. He was born February 9, 1970 in New Orleans, LA. He was the son of David W. Jamieson Sr. and Stephanie Jamieson. David graduated from Ovey Comeaux High School, class of 1989. Following graduation, he served as Seabee with the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. After his return from the Navy, he continued his career in construction working for himself for many years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Nicole J. Byars and her husband Robert Byars III; step-sister, Kerri Lynn Jamieson; his sons, Justin Wayne Jamieson, Skylar Eric Jamieson, Jordan David Jamieson, and Spencer Cole Jamieson; one grandchild, Saylor Jean Jamieson; his niece, Brooke Devalcourt; Aunts & Uncles; Pam Kaighen, Toni Jamieson, Patrick Jamieson Micheal “Butch” Jamieson and Matthew Jamieson, numerous cousins and lastly his beloved dog, “Bella”. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Necia O’flarity Fisher; paternal grandmother, Merilee Poupart Jamieson; aunts and uncles, Deborah K. Fisher, Mike Jamieson, Danny Jamieson, and Jeannie Jamieson Duffard and his old pal “Chester”. A service of remembrance will be held at Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services of Broussard 121 Park Center St. Broussard La. 70518 on August 10, 2022 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, A special thank you to Palliative of Acadiana, especially Nurse Practitioner Jamie Guillot and Hospice of Acadiana, nurses Seth and Laura for their excellent care during this time.
