Deanna Dupre Menard

Lafayette - Deanna "Dee" Dupre Menard, 72, of Broussard, Louisiana, passed away on February 20, 2025, at The Carpenter House in Lafayette, Louisiana. Born on February 12, 1953, Dee was the daughter of Rodney and Dot Dupre. Dee married her high school sweetheart, Francis (Frank) Menard, on July 26, 1970. Their love story spanned nearly five decades, marked by 49 years of marriage before Frank’s passing just shy of their 50th anniversary. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Leigh Ann Vallot and her husband John of Youngsville; her cherished grandchildren, Caroline and Noah Vallot; one brother, David Dupre and his wife Stephanie of Prairie Ronde; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Frank) Menard, and her parents, Rodney and Dot Dupre. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at The Carpenter House for their loving care during Dee's final days. A Memorial Service to celebrate Dee's life will be held at Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services in Broussard, Louisiana on March 8, 2025. Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by a service at 3:00 pm. Dee will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
