Deanna “Dee” Wyble Ziegler, was a resident of Broussard & Sunset, LA where she resided with her two daughters who took care of her. She died at the age of 82 after a longtime battle with CHF. She passed away peacefully in Sunset on April 6, 2024. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Dee was born in Opelousas on June 13, 1941 to Adrien Wyble Sr and Celeman Douget Wyble. She met her husband Bob when he was in the Army stationed at Fort Polk and they were married on October 18, 1958. They moved to Detroit, studied the Bible with the Christian Bible Students and began their family. Later they opened up their own printing shop called “Pyramid Printing”. In 1973 they moved backed to Louisiana and opened “The Country Store” in Leonville where they resided for four years. Deanna was an exceptional caregiver to her children and grandchildren but she mostly doated over her great grandchildren. Deanna “Dee” is survived by her loving children and brother: one son David R. Ziegler wife Shelli of Opelousas; two daughters Jacklin Ziegler Stelly husband Alan of Broussard, and Judith Ziegler Credeur of Sunset; daughter-in-law Linda W Ziegler of Ville Platte ; brother Karlen J Wyble wife Sandra of Grand Coteau; 9 grandchildren Seth Robert Fontenot , Candace Ziegler Johnson husband Ray, Joshua Michael Breaux companion Andy Vargas ; Jessica Breaux Brinkhaus companion Travis Guillory, Cody Joseph Fontenot wife Lauren, Morgan Ziegler Stelly husband Kyle, Derrick Ziegler, Hillary Ziegler and fiancé' Hunter Guillory, Victoria Ziegler Thibodeaux husband Logan , and one step granddaughter Hunter C Jeffereys husband Tanner. 10 great grandchildren; Sydney, Haley, Liam, Marceline, Erin, Kasen, Annalise, Adalynn, Briar and Aidan Proceeded in death by her husband Robert F. Ziegler Sr; her son Robert A Ziegler Jr; her parents Adrien Wyble Sr and Celeman Douget Wyble; four brothers; Adrien"Blacky"Wyble Jr , Gene Wyble , Oren Wyble John " Johnny" Wyble and two sisters; Evelyn Lavergne and Jacklen Wilmath The family wishes to extend a special heartfelt thanks to the staff of La Hospice and Palletive Care for their exceptional care and devotion. We don’t know how we would have made it through this difficult time without you by our sides. You are truly Angels on Earth.
