Youngsville - Dorothy Cormier Madeley, age 87, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services in Broussard, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Dorothy’s beautiful life. Dorothy was a woman of strong Christian faith whose life reflected love, kindness, and devotion. She found joy in reading the word, listening to worship music, and spending time in fellowship with family and friends. Her love for cooking and her enjoyment of bingo brought happiness to many gatherings, and she was cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Comeaux, Valerie King, and Kenny Laque Jr.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her love and spirit forward. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Moise Cormier and Eudia Babineaux, and her beloved son, Bryan James Dominque. Her faith, warmth, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
