Eddie Roland Dixon

Lafayette - Eddie Roland Dixon was born on August 12, 1948, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Earl & Leona Dixon, Sr. He peacefully passed away on September 29, 2025. He leaves behind his sisters, Lottie Guidry & Marilyn George (Edwin) both of Lafayette, LA. Goddaughter, Tonya Joseph of Parks, LA. A special nephew, Quintin L. Dixon of Lafayette, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Paul Breaux High School. He retired as a cook from The Blair House and various other places. He had a love for parakeets & tropical fish. He enjoyed watching television on his big screen and his love for bingo was unmatched! Mr. Dixon is proceeded in death by his parents, Earl and Leona Dixon, Sr. Siblings; Earl Dixon Jr, Linda Jordan, Richard Dixon, and Marjorie Carter. Brothers in law, James "Jimmy" Guidry & Owen Carter; sister in law, Laura Dixon, and lifelong friend, Hailey Alexander. A private ceremony will be held with immediate family at a later date.
