Edward Lee Arabie

Lafayette - Edward Lee Arabie age 72, a well-loved father, devoted husband, and beloved friend, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Edward lived a life brimming with passion, joy, and a deep love for his family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services from 1:00PM-4:00PM Edward’s zest for life was evident in his many pursuits. A lifelong enthusiast of motorcycles, he reveled in the thrill of the open road, always with a smile on his face. He enjoyed watching Nascar races and the New Orleans Saints football games. Sundays were reserved for cheering on the Saints, his excitement and enthusiasm echoing through every game. Edward is survived by his wife Jennifer, son Neil, step-daughters Courtney Belken and husband Vince, Krysten Moffitt and husband Kurtis, and blessed with 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings John Arabie and wife Donna, Susie Perrodin and husband Mike, Judy Roy and husband Keith, and Debora Stutes. He was preceded in death by his parents John Arabie and Ethel Doucet. Edward’s legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others, who will forever cherish his memory and the countless ways he touched their lives.
