Edward Douglas Istre

Edward Douglas Istre, age 70 passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026.

Edward was a man who deeply valued the outdoors and the people in his life. He had a lifelong love for hunting and fishing and found his greatest enjoyment in nature. Known for his generous spirit, Edward was always willing to lend a helping hand and could be counted on by friends and family whenever he was needed. His kindness, quiet strength, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers, Roger Istre and Mike Istre, who will cherish the memories they shared together.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Opal Istre, and his sister, Charlotte Morvant.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
