New Iberia - Elizabeth Boutte age 66. Elizabeth was born March 29, 1959, on an Easter Sunday. Elizabeth was survived by her two sons, Shannon Paul Keck and David Wayne Keck; three grandsons, Cylas Drake Vidrine, Keyden Kent Keck, and Reven Wayne Keck; two granddaughters Amarrah Jade Keck and Sylvie Rose; her sister Mary Catherine Boutte; and one niece, Meryl Lee Boutte. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Margaret Ruth Boutte and Susan Marie Boutte, and her niece Sadie Broussard; her parents Dolores "Dokey" Mestayer Boutte and Lloyd Paul Boutte; as well as her grandparents Felix C. Mestayer and Maude Delaney Mestayer, and Edward M. Boutte and Leontine Courrege Boutte. Elizabeth loved God and caring for her family, neighbors, and animals. She had many foster furry friends. Elizabeth was a State and National Mental Health Advocate, Board Member of The Advocacy Center of Louisiana, and Board Member and Chairperson of PAIMI. She was a Member of CERT (Citizens Emergency Response Team). In her younger years, did volunteer work at the Iberia Humane Society alongside her family.
