Elizabeth K. Tindell

Lafayette - Elizabeth Kabel Tindell entered the kingdom of Heaven on October 31, 2022 at the age of 59. Elizabeth lived most of her young life in St. Bernard Parish La. Elizabeth formed many lasting friendships while living there. She met her husband Lindsey Tindell there and they were married in 1998. In 2005 they moved to Lafayette and have lived there since. Elizabeth loved gardening, bowling and her two "cat kids" Z and Taz. She lived a quiet life and enjoyed her friends she met while bowling in leagues. Elizabeth always looked forward to visits from her family who still reside in St. Bernard Parish. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her mother Helen Butler Kabel and her father Lawrence Salvador Kabel. She is dearly missed by her husband Lindsey Tindell; siblings; Herbert Shubert (Sharon) and their extended family, Linda Kabel Leon (Billy) and their extended family, Patricia Kabel Hetrick (Mike) and their extended family, Mary Kabel Smith and her extended family, Lawrence Joseph Kabel (Kathleen) and their extended family and Niece Aimee Gautreaux (Steve) and their extended family. Also for her neighbors Ms. Mary and her son Donald for being there to help in anyway they could. Our family will be forever grateful to these wonderful people. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital and special thanks to the staff at The Calcutta House, who were so compassionate and helpful to the family in their time of need. in lieu of floral tributes donations may be made to the American Cancer Society A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services 121 Park Center St. Broussard, La. 70518 on Saturday November 5, 2022.
