Crowley - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Freida Helo Alleman, 70, who passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home in Crowley. Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will be officiating for services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Saturday, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. Inurnment will be held at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Freida was born May 28, 1951, in Crowley. She was a 1969 graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School; and then worked at Redemptorist Catholic Elementary School as a secretary. Her favorite hobbies were hanging out by the pool in Orange Beach, spending time with family and friends; but her most precious moments were spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Don Alleman of Crowley; four children, James L. Moody, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Hoover, AL, Kelli H. Richard and her husband Ronnie of Mire, Donnie Alleman and his wife Michelle of Hoover, AL, and Shannon Alleman and his fiancé, Laura of Baker, LA; five siblings, Kermit Helo, Jr. and his wife Donna, Robert Helo and his wife Patty, Ronald Helo and his wife Monica, Janet Stelly and her husband Steve, and Tom Helo and his wife Connie all of Crowley; and nine grandchildren, Harli Paige Richard, Calli Rose Richard, Autumn Elizabeth Meche, Landon Ray Alleman, Lennox Joy Alleman, Elise Faith Alleman, Aria Jane Westbrook, Skylar Martin, and Caleb Martin. Mrs. Alleman is preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Dorothy Hebert Helo, Sr.
