George I Miller

New Iberia - George I. Miller passed away at 12:23pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Belle Tech Nursing Home in New Iberia, LA. George was born in Sacramento CA and lived in New Iberia for 48 years. Graduated from New Iberia Senior High School in 1984. He spent time working various jobs but loved his United Parcel Services especially when he was able to drive the big brown truck. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Clell and Johnnie (Barbara Burchfield), Aunt Kyle June Landry and Cousins Corey and Aaron Landry. Grandparents Seth and Patricia Miller. Memorial Service will be held February 17th, between 11:00am – 3:00pm, at Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services @ 121Park Center St., Broussard, LA 70518. George enjoyed doing volunteer service at Center St. Elementary School, and other organizations, member of the Jaycees, avid bowler, and enjoyed going to his brother’s friend’s camp. He was a helpful, jovial, fun-loving, friendly person. The family would like to thank employees of Hospice of Acadiana and Belle Teche Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center of New Iberia for the care they showed during his time of need. George is survived by his Mother Barbara Miller, Twin Brother Ivan Miller, Father Brian R. Miller and Wife Jan. Sister MaryBeth and Greg Sutton, Sister Visa Oakely. Uncle Lynn J. Landry & Karla. Uncle Lynn & Sue King, Uncle Jeff Miller and Janie, cousins Lynn King, Adam & Adrian King. Nephew Brian J. Miller & wife Jayme, Great Neice Evelyn Miller, Nieces McKenzie Wagman, Nephew’s Jarret Wagman & Reggie Biegler, and Gabrielle Biegler
