Geralyn Marie Jolivette

Lafayette - Geralyn Marie Jolivette, age 61, passed away on April 19, 2025. A loving and devoted mother, Geralyn’s life was marked by her unwavering care for her family, her strong spirit, and her fierce determination. As a retired registered nurse, she spent much of her life taking care of others, offering compassion and support to countless patients. Her dedication to her work reflected the same love and dedication she showed to her family. Geralyn was a woman of great character—vocal, feisty, and never afraid to speak her mind. She touched the lives of those who knew her with her humor, strength, and warmth. She was a proud mother to her sons, Jason Castille and Shane Jolivette, and a beloved grandmother to her grandchild, Milo Castille. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Marckus Fusilier, Paul H. Fusilier Jr., Megenia Fusilier, Everette Fusilier Sr., Sharon Fusilier, and Sharoll Fusilier. Geralyn also leaves behind her niece, Brianna Fusilier; her nephews, Everette Fusilier Jr., Tony Fusilier, and Leland Mouton; and her godchild, Roshanda Hunt. Geralyn was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Fusilier Sr. and Leona Thibeaux, both of whom she cherished deeply.
