Henry J. "Joey" Lissard Jr.

New Iberia - Henry J. "Joey" Lissard Jr. 73, passed away on Monday May 30, 2022 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until time of the Rosary on Saturday. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of in New Iberia, with Fr. Michael Keith Landry Officiating, immediately following a 10:00 A.M. Rosary that will be recited. Inurnment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park. Joey was born on December 20. 1948 in New Iberia to Henry J. and Doris Mandella Lissard. Henry is survived by his wife Susan Laperouse Lissard of New Iberia, daughter Leslie Chambers of New Iberia, son Eric and wife Jerri Ann Lissard of New Iberia, one brother Steve Lissard and wife Maggie of Eunice, LA., God-Child Scott Lissard and wife Leigh of Lafayette. Also surviving him are his 6 grandchildren; Clay, Emma and Andrew Chambers and Tyler, Luke and Jake Lissard. The family would like to give a special thanks to Julie, Nicole and Dr. Victoria Panelli of Hope Hospice for the care they showed for Joey.
