St. Martinville - Funeral services for Irene Dore Smith, 68, who passed away on Monday January 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by family will be held in the chapel of Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services, 121 Park Center St. Broussard, La. on Friday February 3, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday February 2, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Irene was born on April 1,1954 in Lafayette, she was a hard worker who loved to dance and play cards. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo Paul and Hilda Bonin Dore, her husband Leonce Smith Sr., brother, Jimmy Dore, sisters; Eva Bonin, Ana Smith and Dorothy Norris. She is survived by her sons; Leonce Smith Jr. and wife Amelia of St. Martinville and Chuck Smith and wife Chantell of St. Martinville, daughter Roxanne Smith of Jeanerette, a brother Albert Dore and wife Laura of Milton, sisters; Aline Smith and husband Hallet of St. Martinville and Gayle Domingue and husband Gerald of Franklin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Blake, Brice, Amber, Bailey, Christan, Kilen, Dillon, Dakota, Addillon, Carter, Blakely, Cullen, Braxtyn, Camryn and Carleigh Smith..
