Church Point - January 22, 1953 – May 1, 2025, Jacob “Jake” Isaac Pitts, 72, passed away on May 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with dementia. Jake was a man known for his generosity, warmth, and unwavering willingness to help others. If you needed something fixed, he could do it—and he’d gladly give you the shirt off his back while doing so. Born on January 22, 1953, Jake was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Michelle, his four children Wesley (Jacky), Jordan, Hollie (Jordy), and Jade (Brandon), three grandchildren , Annabelle, Sebastian, and Julia. Also his brother, Andy Milligan with whom he shared a special bond. Jake had a deep love for animals, a fondness for circus peanuts, and a lifelong passion for fishing. He lived a life of quiet kindness and steady strength, always ready with a tool in hand and a heart full of love. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annabelle Steele, and his sister, Fabian Hambry. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Southwind Healthcare for their compassionate care. A special thank-you also goes to his wife, Michelle, and his daughter Hollie, and grand daughter Annabelle, who remained faithfully by his side through the final weeks of his life. Jake will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was: a man who loved deeply, gave freely, and lived humbly.
