Johnny Joseph Louviere

Jeanerette- Johnny Joseph Louviere, 78, passed away at his home in Jeanerette on Monday October 18, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette on Thursday October 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Following Mass the family will receive friends at Cooper St. Coffee House, everyone is invited to join the family in remembering Johnny. Johnny Louviere was born August 20, 1943 in Weeks Island LA and a lifelong resident of Iberia Parish. Johnny graduated from New Iberia High School in 1961, he then joined the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching golf and boxing on television and was a past member of the JC's prior to his illness. Johnny is survived by his loving wife Carmel Louviere of Jeanerette, Daughters; Nicole Louviere Mayer and husband Carl of Jeanerette, Natalie Louviere of Jeanerette, Sons; Sam Louviere and wife Laura of New Iberia and Edward Louviere and wife Michelle Kaim Louviere of Crown Point Indiana. Johnny is survived also by his grandchildren; Evyn, Nicholas and Sara Louiviere, Thomas Greaux, Gina, Heather and Conner Mathern, Gavin Mayer, great-grandchild, Kacey Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy J. and Ruby Guillotte Louviere of Iberia Parish. brothers; Kenneth Sr. and Ray Louviere, sister Brenda Louviere. Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services have been entrusted with arrangements.
