Jude Lance Borde

Youngsville - Jude Lance Borde, age 52, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. A resident known for his unwavering loyalty, warm spirit, and love of life; Jude will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A devoted sports fan, Jude found his greatest joy in cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers. Saturdays in the fall were sacred, often spent surrounded by family, friends, and the electric energy of college football. His passion for the game reflected the same enthusiasm he brought to every aspect of his life. Jude took great pride in his work and cherished his time with his colleagues at Rock Solid Materials, where he was not only a valued team member but also a true friend to many. Outside of work, Jude found happiness in sharing drinks and laughter with friends and spending quality time with his loved ones. By his side through it all was his loyal pit bull companion, Sweet Pea, a constant presence and source of comfort. Jude is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karla Dubois Borde; his sons, Dylan Borde and Devin Borde and wife Sydney; his brothers, Joe Borde and wife Gherri, and Jason Borde; and his cherished grandchildren, Aubrii and Ayden. His legacy lives on in the memories shared, the stories told, and the love that endures. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his humor, his fierce love for his family and friends, and the Tiger spirit that never left his heart. Services are to be announced by the family.
