Katherine Hulin

Katherine Hulin, age 71, of New Iberia, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 25, 1955, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Katherine was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her vibrant spirit and warmth, she spent many wonderful years in the New Iberia community. Katherine had a deep love for Louisiana culture; nothing brought her more joy than listening to good Zydeco music and firing up the grill for a family BBQ. Her greatest happiness was bringing people together, and her legacy of love, laughter, and hospitality will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving children, Nicole, Lacey, Clarence Jr., and Chelsea. She is the cherished grandmother of: • Brett P.• Hunner F. • Kylin C. and Brayden C.• Giannia P. and Dasani P.• Daniel P., Clarence III P., and Adalyn P.• Billie Jean V.• Joshua T. and Jasalaya T. She is also survived by her beloved friend, Anna, and her dear companion, Judy Ann, who was faithfully by her side from the very beginning. Katherine leaves behind a host of extended family and close friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents. In accordance with her wishes, Katherine will be cremated. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date, and the family will share those details once they are finalized.
