Lafayette - Kevin Paul Denais, 55, of Lafayette, passed away on February 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. His sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Kevin's infectious sense of humor and immense knowledge of all things will be deeply missed. Kevin had a unique talent for building anything with his hands. Whether it was a home improvement project or crafting something from scratch, he approached it with dedication and joy. He also had a keen interest in collecting coins and antiques, and his enthusiasm for these hobbies was contagious to all around him. Known for his witty nature, Kevin loved to tease those closest to him, always sharing laughs and lighthearted moments with family and friends. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Anita Denais; children Luke, Ethan, and Emma Denais, and Imanuela Saraswati; his siblings, Brent Denais and his wife Shelly, Eric Denais, and Angella Denais; his grandchild, Korena; and his mother, Virginia Broussard. He is preceded in death by his father, Jeule Denais Jr. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 4:30 PM in the chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services in Broussard. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kevin’s life and the joy he brought to all who knew him. Kevin’s legacy of laughter, love, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will never be forgotten.
