Kisha Gallet

Kisha Danielle Gallet, of Youngsville, LA passed away peacefully at her residence on February 27, 2026 at the age of 52.

Born on September 15, 1973 in Lafayette, Kisha was the daughter of Karlan “Pookie” Gallet & Rosalind Simon Gallet. Throughout her life, she was guided by a deep love for her family and a gentle spirit that touched everyone she knew.

Family was the center of Kisha’s life. She was a devoted and loving mother who took great pride in her children & grandchildren and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved. She cherished family gatherings and treasured the bonds she shared with her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and strength.

In addition to her devotion to family, Kisha held a lifelong love for horses. She found peace, joy, and companionship in them.

She is survived by her children, Karlie Cormier (Tim) & Devin Vice (BritneAna); grandchildren, Stetson & Huxson Vice; siblings, Kendra Barrilleaux (Adam), Koleby Gallet (Kelli), Kasey Gallet (Sheri), & Kain Gallet; nephews, Kylan Baudoin, Braxton Gallet (Kaitlyn), Cooper Gallet, Kaden Gallet, Kaison Gallet; nieces, Brailee Gallet, Graison & Addison Barrilleaux; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Karlan “Pookie” Gallet & Rosalind Simon Gallet; Paternal grandparents, Jean Gallet and the former Marie Baudoin; Maternal grandparents, Clarisse Simon and Sadie Morales Rabalais; Godparents, Cheryl & John Brasseaux; Aunts, Debra Legere & Beverly Guillory; Uncle, Roland Landry Jr; and several other extended family members.

Kisha will be forever loved and truly missed by her family and friends.

The Family request that visitation be observed at Christian Life Center on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
