Kory Paul Eddy

Kory Paul Eddy, age 52, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, at his home in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.

Kory was truly the life of the party—everyone knew that things didn’t get started until he walked through the door. He lived life at full throttle, with a deep passion for riding and racing motorcycles. Kory had a need for speed and embraced every moment with energy, excitement, and a fearless spirit.

A talented tattoo artist by trade, Kory expressed his creativity through his work and left a lasting mark on many. He was also a true rock-and-roll soul, known for his love of music and his vibrant personality that drew people to him.

Above all, Kory was an incredible father. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children, whom he loved deeply. He was a devoted husband, sharing 21 years of marriage with his loving, caring, and supportive wife, Stephanie.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Boyer Eddy; his children, Dylan, Kameron, Layton, Jaxson, and Karlyn Eddy; and his mother, Linda Smith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Eddy.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Amedisys Hospice, especially his nurse Monica Lynn, and Dr. Warren Degatur and his staff, for the compassion, care, and support shown to Kory and his family during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests monetary donations to assist with personal expenses incurred over the past several years of Kory’s illness.

Kory will be remembered for his bold spirit, his love for life, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.
