Larry W. Burgess

Charenton – Larry W. Burgess age 87 passed away on December 3, 2023 at The Bayou Bend Health System in Franklin, La. Larry is survived by his children; L'Ree Minthorn of Pendleton, Oregon, Lance Burgess and his life long companion Lorraine Vargas of Clovis, New Mexico, Lon Burgess and his wife Karen of New Iberia, Stepson Guy Darden and his wife Sarah, and Stepson John Darden Jr. ; grandchildren; Marty , Bret , Jessie Burgess, William and Amy Minthorn ; great grandchildren; Ravyn, Ezrah, Willow, Finley, Cameryn and Chenoa Burgess, Benjamin and Brandon Minthorn and Taylor Darden. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Burgess Marcotte and his wife Rita Mae Broussard Burgess. Our family would also like to offer a special thanks to Mr. Johnny Burgess and family for assisting Larry for several years at their residence, as well as his doctors and nurses at Chitimacha Clinic. No services are pending.
