Lenore Padilla

Church Point - Lenore Padilla age 60 passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center surrounded by family and loved ones. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at The Bayou Church in Lafayette from 10:00AM- 12:00PM. Lenore is survived by her children; Luis Padilla of Lafayette, Emma and Anna Padilla of Church Point, siblings; Timothy Hird of Atlanta, Leisha Boudreaux of Kinder and nieces/nephews; Bryce, Trevor, Tyler Hird of Georgia, Nikki Boudreaux of Carencro, Josh Hird of Lafayette, Jericah Boudreaux of Opelousas, Shelbi Landry of Opelousas and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Timothy Hird and Ramona Allemond White. Lenore went to her eternal resting place surrounded by friends and family. She was a dedicated teacher up until the time of her accident in 2002 that left her with many limited mobility’s and health issues. She was very strong and over came many trials along her journey. In the recent years, she enjoyed eating crabs (boy did she know how to clean a crab) her fur babies, puzzles, quilting, traveling & talking on the phone. If you ever needed someone to talk to on a long trip, Lenore would be there to get you through. We would also like to give a special thanks to her daughter Emma for the many years of being her care giver. Also, a special thanks to the family and friends that helped her along the way…
