Lisa Renee Tucker

St. Martinville - Lisa Renee Tucker, age 61, passed away peacefully at her home in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on May 4, 2025. A devoted caregiver by profession and by nature, Lisa dedicated her life to helping others with quiet strength and unwavering compassion. Lisa lived a life rooted in love—cherishing time with Clay Upchurch, her caregiver and dear friend, and finding joy in the company of her family. She was known for her gentle spirit, low-key demeanor, and deep capacity for kindness. Whether through her work or in her personal life, Lisa touched countless hearts with her empathy and presence. She is survived by her loving daughters: Jamie Byron and her husband Robert, Crystal Tucker, and Becky Tucker; her father, Charles Tucker; her sister, Teresa Christy and husband Paul; and her beloved aunt, Ruth Culver. Lisa also leaves behind her cherished nephew, Bennie Culver, and a circle of close friends who became like family to her—Lee Schnyder, Lane Prince, Ronnie and Madelyn Duhon, Tracy and Tom Breaux, Mark and Tisa Maturin, and Marylyn and Roy Segura. A Funeral Service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Colligan Crematory & Funeral Services in Broussard. Though she may be gone, Lisa's legacy of compassion, quiet strength, and love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
