Lucille Simon

St. Martinville - Lucille Simon, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on January 5, 1952, to Nicholas Simon and Genevieve Douet, who precede her in death. Lucille lived a life full of passion, joy, and strength. She was an avid pool player and loved the thrill of friendly competition. Whether she was watching a game or cheering on her favorite teams, her love for sports was a constant part of her life. Lucille also cherished the quiet moments spent fishing, finding peace in nature and the simple beauty of the outdoors. Above all, she treasured her family, always keeping them close to her heart. She is survived by her brothers Lonnie Simon and his wife Tanya, Minos Simon and his wife Prissy, and Rickey Simon and his wife Kim; her sisters Blanche Simon and Mary Mitchell; her niece Rami Mitchell; and her nephew Kane Mitchell. Lucille will be remembered for her warm spirit, her love of laughter, and the way she brought people together. Her presence in the lives of those who loved her will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
