Manuel Gerard Robertson

December 31, 1982 — May 20, 2025

St. Martinville - Manuel Gerard Robertson age 42, a cherished resident of St. Martinville, passed away on May 20, 2025. A proud member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Manuel lived a life of generosity, kindness, and joy. Known by many as a “real-life Santa Claus,” he found true happiness in giving to others, never expecting anything in return. Manuel had a passion for cooking and an even greater love for eating good food. His kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of his favorite dishes and the sound of laughter from family and friends. He treasured time spent with loved ones and was always the heart of any gathering. He is survived by his father, Alvin Robertson; his son, Kylon Thibeaux; his five brothers, Alvin Robertson Jr., Merttay Robertson, Neahmiah Robertson, Quokneeko Robertson, and Raphael Robertson; and six sisters, Arkerra Robertson, Vedra Robertson, Serena Worrick, Ureenie Robertson, Marriette Robertson, and Angeleana Berard. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will deeply miss his warmth and spirit. Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jennifer Robertson, and his sister, Plechett Robertson. His giving heart and joyful presence will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known and loved him. Visitation will take place in the chapel of Colligan Crematory and Funeral Services in Broussard from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited by Farina Guidry at 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m.
