Marilyn Hudson

Lafayette - A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday November 5, 2022 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 300 East Martial Ave. Lafayette, Rev. Chris Blanchard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until time of service. Marilyn Hudson, 85, passed away at her home on Saturday October 22, 2022, she was born January 26, 1937 to John and Mary Ann Taylor Godson in England. Marilyn was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, The New Acadians Women's Club and the Lafayette area Golf Association. She is preceded in death by her parents, John James and Mary Ann Taylor Godson and is survived by her husband Jack B. Hudson. Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Jacquelyn Ann Hudson of Broussard, and her son, Alan K. Hudson and wife Suzy of Orlando Fl.; two grandsons, Bryan Paul and Keith Alan Hudson. She is also survived by her sister Dianna Hester and husband James of Omaha Nebraska.
