New Iberia - Marilyn Marie Maturin, 65 of New Iberia passed away on Thursday March 10, 2022 at her home. Marilyn was a Foster Parent for many years, helping to give a stable and loving environment to so many kids that were in need of one.. She is preceded in death by her parents; Fernand and Theresa Omean Perret, a son, Francis Adam Maturin and a brother Glenn David Perret. Marilyn is survived by her husband, James A. Maturin, daughters; Jammie and Nicole Maturin and her son, Travis David Maturin, grand-children and 1 great-grandchild.
