Marklin J. Reaux

Marklin James Reaux Sr., 55, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023 at his home. He was a great son, father, grandfather and brother. He was definately a great friend to many people. Marklin is survived by his mother, Cathy Logan (Randy), stepmom Dale Maturin, stepmom Pat Reaux, seven children; Marklin Reaux Jr.. Marcus Reaux (Jailan), Miles Reaux (Angel), Markisha Adams (Brett), Margen Reaux, Marlin Reaux (Treisha) and Megan Reaux. Siblings: Shane Reaux (Sheila), Larry Reaux Jr.(Leann), Joleen Pete (Greg), Jean Reaux Sr. (April), Chad Reaux (Tracie), JR Reaux (Janet) and 14 grandchildren. Marklin was from New Iberia, La. He worked in the oilfield and construction most of his life. He loved doing wood work and cooking for his family. BBQ was his favorite thing to cook, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Marklin will definately be missed but the memories of him will live forever. Marklin is preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Maturin, his father Larry Reaux Sr. and grandson, Hunter Adams. A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 11, 2023 in First Baptist Church of Youngsville
