Marylin Ann Landry Meche

Mire - Marylin Ann Landry Meche, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marylin found her greatest joy in her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always offering a warm hug, a listening ear, and plenty of conversation. A talented knitter and crocheter, Marylin filled her home—and the homes of many loved ones—with handmade gifts stitched with care and love. She also had a love for travel and never missed an opportunity for a good road trip or an engaging chat. Known for her vibrant personality and storytelling, she truly never met a stranger. She is survived by her loving children: sons David Landry and his wife Regina, and Calise Meche and his wife Michelle; daughters Dorothy Breaux and her husband Terry, Katherine Hall and her husband Calvin, and Theresa Tate and her husband Tony. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Goldie Landry, along with 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will carry on her memory. Marylin was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Every Meche, her parents Marie Omar Landry and Dorothy Townsend, and her siblings Chester Landry and Juanita Landry. Her legacy of love, warmth, and endless conversation will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
