Michael Steven Lowry

Franklin- Michael Lowry age 62 passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2024 at his residence in Lafayette surrounded by his family and loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Youngsville at 3:00PM. Brother Chris Fuselier will conduct the services. Michael is survived by daughter Amy Sauce and husband Tim of Galva, Kansas, siblings; Alva Lowry and wife Sheila of Lafayette, Kim Comeaux and Kerry of Bayou Vista, Vernon Lowry and wife Donna of Centerville, Debbie Scates of League City, Texas and granddaughters Eleanore and Scarlet Sauce along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Alva Lowry Sr. and Beverly Fiew. Michael was a life long resident of Franklin but spent his final years in Lafayette where in enjoyed collecting coins, going to dinner with friends and enjoying life. Special recognition from the family to Sheila Lowry for being there for Steve to take care of him. She bought him to doctors appointments, the hospital and made sure he took his medication Thank you Sheila. He will be missed by all.
