Abbeville - Michael W. Touchet age 50. HE GAINED HIS WINGS ON JUNE 2 2024 AT 7:05AM.  HE PASSED AT PEACE IN HIS SLEEP AT HIS RESIDENCE. HE WAS A LIFE TIME RESIDENT OF ABBEVILLE, LA.  HE LOVED TO DEER HUNT, AND RIDE IN HIS BOAT HE JUST GOT. HE WAS SENT OFF BY HIS WIFE, STEP SON, TWO STEP DAUGHTERS, BROTHER IN LAW, AND JACOB. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE OF 18 YEARS KAREN SUE TOUCHET, STEP SON PRESTON JOSEPH LEMAIRE JR, AND FIANCE TABITHA ALLEMAN, OF DUSON, THEIR 5 KIDS MICHAEL, ADYSON, JAYLEE, KENNEDI, AND MIA.ROZELLA DEVILLE, AND HUSBAND STEPHEN DEVILLE OF  ARNAUDVILLE, LA. THEIR FOUR KIDS ARYANA, KASSIDY, AMELIA, AND RUDY GABRIELLE LEMAIRE, AND SIGNIFICANT OTHER JACOB HARRINGTON JR, BROTHER IN LAW KERRY WHITE, AND FIANCE GRETCHEN MATHERNE OF DERIDER, AND KENWOOD WHITE OF ABBEVILLE. RANDY LEFORT AND WIFE ROBIN LEFORT OF ROBIN GEORGIA, SON BROCK ABSHIRE,AND HIS MOTHER, AND 4 KIDS 5 GRAND KIDS PROCEEDED IN DEATH, FATHER WILTON TOUCHET, MOTHER IN LAW BERNICE DURR LEFORT, FATHER IN LAW RUDY LEFORT, SISTER N LAW KATHERINE WHITE , BROTHER N LAW KELVIN WHITE(KOON) GRAND PARENTS AND GREAT GRAND PARENTS. This man was a great friend whom I have known since school. Very hard working, fun to be around and would help you no matter what you needed. Even though we said our good byes you will always be MY BOY! And we will never forget you. Forever in our hearts , Kieth n Tonia Gisclair MIKE WAS ONE OF THE BEST CRANE OPERATERS YOU COULD HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. AS THE LOVING MAN THAT HE WAS HE CHOSE TO TAKE ME AND MY KIDS AND MAKE A GREAT LIFE FOR US ALL. WE HAD SOME BAD TIMES, AND SOME REALLY GOOD TIMES. THIS MAN WOULD HELP ANYONE! HE LIKED TO BE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY. HE WAS LOVED BY SO MANY. THEY CAME AND SAW HIM FROM ALL OVER. I'M SO GLAD I REACHED OUT TO THEM BECAUSE IT MADE HIM SMILE IN THE END. So I want to say I love my family and friends very much and I know I’m not the nicest or sweetest person and it takes a special kinda person to have love for me and I just have to say the love I’ve gotten from my step dad over the past 18 years of my life has been more than I could ever ask for from a person he’s been more of a father to me than he ever had to be and I love him every day for that you’re one of my best friends not just father figure I love you and thank you for everything you do. Michael Touchet was a brother of the oil field, a very good friend, an excellent crane operator. He was an amazing person to be around. We were very good friends. I will forever be grateful having meet him and becoming as close as we were. I have already miss him. We talked often off the job as well. It is an honor to have known him as a coworker and a friend. You will be missed by many Michael. RIP fly high brother, until we meet again your memory, I will carry with me. 🫶🙏 Arnold Breaux AKA ( PIMP ) Today I am celebrating da life of Michael Touchet(my brotha from another mother & dear friend), who has left us far too soon. Michael was a kind, loving, generous person, & his presence will be deeply missed. Michael had a BIG heart, & always put others before himself. He had a unique sense of humor, & always knew how to make those around him laugh. His passing leaves a hole in my heart dat can never be filled. But while I mourn his loss, I'll also celebrate his life, & da joy dat he constantly bought to all of us. He will always be remembered as a kind, loving, generous person, & will be greatly missed. I personally worked with or around Mike from the start of my crane career almost 12 years ago. We were just planning to go fishing in the bay together.He will for sure be missed by many.
