Michelle Romero, Was born on December 29,1975. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Michelle gained her wings on October 13, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General. She will forever be remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone she truly loved. Michelle had a lifelong passion for art, writing, and creativity in all its forms. She found joy in the simple things—family time, books, jewelry, and makeup, music, dancing—and had a gift for bringing beauty and meaning into the everyday moments of life. She knew how to tell you what you needed to hear not what not what you wanted to hear. Her kind and nurturing presence touched so many even when she didn't realize it.She is survived by e her loving husband/best friend Andrew Romero; her daughters Krista Gil and Maria Duhon; her son Mark Duhon; stepchildren Cory Romero (wife Tressie), Andrew Bergin (wife Christin), and Angel Bergin; Brother Michael W Adams wife (Faye Adams); and sister-in-law Cheryl Romero. Michelle was the proud grandmother of Emily, Ethan, Marligh, Bryleigh, Rowan, Davi', Kylie, Kolby.She is also survived by her beloved nanny Carmen husband (Murphy Crochet), and her dearest friend Theresa Copland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney Adams and Enola Pellerin, her grandparents, Valcour and Enola Leet, also her sweet silly Stewie. Those who knew Michelle will forever remember her laughter, compassion,her love and devotion to her family and her favorite words to those she loved: “I love you to the moon and back.”
