Mickle Andrew Landry, age 70, passed away on October 18, 2026. He will be remembered as a beloved father, brother, uncle, friend, and valued member of his community.

Mickle was a kindhearted man with a generous spirit who readily offered a helping hand, words of encouragement, or a listening ear. His kindness touched many lives, and he cared deeply about the people around him.

He worked hard in the scrap metal business, earning his living through determination and dedication. Outside of work, one of his greatest passions was playing pool. An avid player, Mickle treasured the friendships, laughter, and memories shared around the pool table. He also ran Emeralds Pool Hall, a gathering place that became an important part of his life and the community he loved.

He is survived by his stepdaughters, Michelle Romero and her husband, Ronnie Romero; Monica Young and her fiancé, Dale Stutes; and Billie Jo Dupuy; his brother, Calvin Landry and his wife, Bonnie Landry; his sister, Ann L. Owens and her husband, Willis Owens Jr.; and his five grandchildren, Nick Romero, McKenzie Young, Gavin Young, Mariah Dupuy, and Randy Bourque.

He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Landry, brothers, Jules “Joe” Mullins, Francis Landry Sr., Gerald Landry, Allen Landry, and Sydney Landry; and his son-in-law, Josh Young.

Mickle leaves behind a legacy of hard work, generosity, and friendship. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the friendships he built, and the many acts of kindness remembered by those who knew and loved him.
