Nola Faye Huffman Merren

Mamou - Nola Faye Huffman Merren, age 68, entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2024, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou, La. She is survived by her daughters; Crystal Thomas, husband Daniel Thomas, Chella Benoit, husband Irvin Benoit, 15 grandchildren whom she loved. Her brothers, David Huffman, Bobby Huard, Tommy Huard and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Nola was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Severy; father; Robert Huffman; sister, Gay Fontenot; brothers, Donald Huffman, Jerry Huffman, John Huffman and a grandchild; Dominique Benoit. They have welcomed her into eternal rest. Nola's life was one of simple pleasures. She loved being a homemaker, reading books and working crossword puzzles along with spending time with family and her grandchildren. In Nola Merren's memory, let us reflect on a life of the good memories that we shared with her and may she rest in peace.
